Biography
Dr. Gilleran is a urologist at Beaumont Health and an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Dr. Gilleran graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed Urologic residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed a fellowship in Female Urology and Voiding Dysfunction at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Gilleran is dedicated to teaching and training the next generation of urologists, as demonstrated by receiving the first Jack Neely Taylor Award for Instructor of the Year at Ohio State in 2010.
Dr. Gilleran specialists both male and female urinary problems including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, interstitial cystitis and other forms of chronic pelvic pain. He specializes in neuromodulation and female pelvic reconstruction. He is actively engaged in clinical research at Beaumont and has published many research papers, book chapters, and other manuscripts. Dr. Gilleran has presented at meetings around the world on urologic conditions and treatments.
